Our team entered into the Myers Briggs I with an open, yet cautious attitude, but found the end results interesting and thought-provoking in many ways. This allowed us to open our minds and give us a better insight into not only understanding our own strengths and weaknesses, but also that of those whom we work with.  Malcolm’s inspirational and pragmatic approach to each individual team member has re-focused our vision, which in turn has strengthened our business and made it a more enjoyable atmosphere.  This testing system is a wonderful way to enlighten a team and enables people of different beliefs, backgrounds and education to work more efficiently together.  Thank you to Malcolm and his fabulous team for all their hard work!

....... guidance and insight were a huge help to me in setting the right mental approach for the board; he particularly impressed me with his listening skills, ...also helped me set my 'frame of mind' for the interview and also in preparation for taking the next rank; helping me to focus on my strengths and how to project them constructively.  I feel that Malcolm's combination of leadership and communication skills together with his experience as a senior manager make him a real asset in helping others develop as leaders very positively.

I have been able to put into practice a number of the things that we talked through....particularly in relation to team building and performance management.

I have looked through the competencies  outlined for Chartered Manager...of particular use was your philosophy on leadership. Your passion for policing is evident and infectious; the clear direction you bring coupled with your clarity of purpose was something I was able to adapt to my own style.

...the BCU had recently been subject to a HMIC GL3 Inspection and morale and performance were not good..  

I commenced my role here with 'one to one' interviews ....using the template you suggested ..... I then 'borrowed with pride' some of the suggestions that you gave me in respect of performance management and clear lines of accountability and a structured performance framework. .......the resultant 15% fall in crime and that Milton Keynes are now one of the best performing police areas in the force.

More than anything what I took from you was your ability to inspire and motivate teams by displaying passion and commitment to your role, for this I will always be grateful. Thank you for your help and direction .
